Haoyang Wu吴昊阳
I am Haoyang Wu, currently reading for an MPhil in Machine Learning and Machine Intelligence at the Department of Engineering (CUED), University of Cambridge, under the supervision of John Dudley. I am also a Research Assistant with the Situated Reality Lab (SiR@HKU), led by Xiang Li, in the Department of Data and Systems Engineering (DASE) at The University of Hong Kong.
My research lies at the intersection of human-computer interaction and artificial intelligence, with a particular focus on extended reality. I study how intelligent systems can understand people and situations to enable adaptive, context-aware interaction in everyday settings.
My academic background spans mathematics, computer science, the Internet of Things, and machine learning.
I am currently seeking PhD opportunities starting in spring or fall 2027. If you are recruiting PhD students, or know of any relevant opportunities, please feel free to reach out.
